Someone have ever redrill his wolverine carb gate?

Someone have ever re-drill his 350 wolverine carb gate without dynojet kit?

Check this link, they re-drill the carb gate, I know that is with the kit, to scale everything, but someone at work, someone tell me to to that, even without the jet kit, this will help the gate to open faster due to more suction to the diaphragm.

I drilled mine when I installed my Dynojet kit, but ended up having to many issues trying to set the jetting. I ended up ditching the Dynojet hardware and went to the dealership and got a couple bigger mains and went one up on the pilot to richen the bottom end, not having any issues with the drilled gate. Hope this helped you out, though I guess my carb aint exactly 'stock' anymore...
