I did this on my Wolfy and it works great

This mod shows you how to tie down the linkage limiter allowing you to bypass what would normally force you into stepping on the rear brake lever or holding on the handle bar rear brake lever to shift gears.

good to know.mine got wet and rusty and caused me to not be able to get it in gear....so i dissabled mine as well......but i just jammed the cable so it will not lock in...same idea :D
