Well, i was riding today, and messed up my stock skidplate pretty bad-
I recommend everyone purchase an aftermarket rear skid for their wolverines, as the stocker is not strong at all.

P.S. Anyone that has a full swingarm skid plate for the 350, shoot me a PM.

I just bought one from a forum member a few weeks ago. I had the chance to test it out last weekend. WOW! What a difference! The stock one is thin gauge stamped steel. I highly recommend a nice after market unit.

My new vs. old:

I agree, If there are rocks in your riding areas you should definitively replace the stock flimsy swingarm skidplate with an aftermarket unit. On my Wolverine I have installed the Yamaha aluminum skidplate. It is not as big as the other aftermarket skidplates but I can attest that it can take a lot of punishments. By the way, I did a review at the end of 2005 on the Yamaha aluminum skidplate (http://www.woodwarrior.com/myWolverine/review/yamaha_skid_plate.htm).

Anything is better than that stock unit. It's about as durable as a soda can.

Got my new DG Baja skid on the other day. GREAT protection, altho 1 bolt didnt line up correctly, and on of the others was too big. Got it on tho.
